YOUR GATE TO VALENCIA

 

Looking for a small boutique hotel whose location cannot be topped in Valencia? Here is my choice: Hotel MYR Puerta Serranos next to the 14th century Serranos Towers, the former entry point of the royal road into the ancient city. The hotel can easily be reached by car, yet all the interesting sights of the old town are less than a 15 minute walk away.

 

The newly refurbished rooms exude calm and elegance, the roof top terrace offers views of the impressive Serranos Towers and this fascinating city. We enjoyed a high quality, a- la-carte breakfast and the very friendly and accommodating staff throughout our stays. There is a private parking garage, perfect if your car is not oversized.

 

Interesting rates after the Spanish holidays in January when countless orange trees in the city bear fruit: beautiful! Not much difference in price between standard rooms and junior suites during the off-season.

 

The chic La Perfumeria restaurant at the nearby sister hotel is lovely for a romantic dinner and just a 5 minute walk away.

Tip:
A park in a dried up river bed just across the road leads to the not-to-be-missed City of Arts and Sciences, 3,5 km away. Great for walking, jogging or biking along with the locals.
